Our Beloved Family of Pets
I adopted Sasha from MSPCA in 2001 and she lived until 2009, to the age of 13. Sasha was born in 1996. Sasha was my "9/11 comfort cat" as I adopted her right after that tragic event. I named her Sasha due to her "insatiable" appetite upon adoption.
Lynx came into our life as a stray in 2004. She looks up like this whenever I say "MOUSE!" Lynx was born to a feral colony around July 2004.
Shayna, our beloved golden retriever. 8 years old and still a pup.
Ry, the elusive cat, in a rare visible moment. We adopted Ry in April 2009 at 10 months old. Based on his behavior Ry was either a full-blown feral cat or had some early trauma that leads him to minimize human interaction.
Christmas 2009: We adopt Thatcher, a 1-year old stray likely abandoned by another owner. Came right in from our side door after we fed her for a couple weeks. Really, really affectionate. More pictures of Thatcher
